Please forgive me for not updating in such a long time!  The Tallahassee Corps is having an amazing year thus far!  The teens just got back from Youth Councils in Orlando and one of the things that they came back wanting to do was a Side Walk ministry much like that of Joe the Turk at his shoe shop, so I have posted some pictures of the first drawings.

Here is a picture of the Richmond's new little girl who will be two months old on Sunday.  Her name is Julia.

The Tallahassee Corps received the Red Excellance in Youth Award at Youth Councils as well as the 2nd fastest growing Sunday School in 2005!  Way to go guys!  When I get the pictures developed from the weekend I will post them as well.

The Christian Motorcycle Association visited our church this past Sunday.  We had a blast worshipping together and having a great potluck lunch.  The kids were able to go and look at and get on some of the motorcycles!  Thank you CMA!

This week we return to a somewhat normal schedule!  Tuesday is Band, Girl Guards, and Timbrels.  Wednesday is Sunbeams/Adventure Corps/ and Home League.

This Sunday we are celebrating our new corps cadets and future officers. 

It was great to see all of our returning college students.  I know there are a few more out there.  We are hoping to start our College fellowship very soon.

Hey!  Just a reminder that youth meetings start this Tuesday (August 23) and Wednesday (August 24).  Please call or blog for more information.  

Sunday August 28, we will be welcoming guests from the Christian Motorcycle Association as they join us for worship and a potluck lunch afterwards.  I know that many of our college congregation will be just arriving but please join us if you can!  The corps will provide the meat and drinks, please bring your favorite vegatable or dessert.

We have just finished our Vacation Bible School for 2005.  Once I can get a link to the pics I will post them.  We had a great time.  I know that the kids had a blast. 

Please be in prayer for Nichole as she begins her journey at the Evangeline Booth College for Officer Training!  We will miss you Nichole!
